[ NYCU News ] Our university's biomedical engineering sector has signed an MOU with Taipei Veterans General Hospital to promote collaboration in clinical trials and field validation.

On January 24, 2024, Taipei Veterans General Hospital and our university's biomedical engineering sector signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), marking the beginning of a substantial collaboration. In the future, several clinical cooperation projects will be launched progressively.

Professor 林峻立, Dean of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Medical Device Innovation and Translational Research Center at our university, will lead the collaboration between our university's biomedical engineering sector and the Medical Engineering Department at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. This partnership will closely integrate the capabilities of clinical hospitals to advance clinical trials and field collaborations, establish various medical data databases, and jointly develop medical devices with high clinical demand.
