[Repost] AI-Driven Biomedical Innovation: NYCU Shapes the New Future of Smart Healthcare

In response to the rapid global evolution of the biotechnology and medical sectors, alongside the accelerated real-world implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and smart healthcare, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) continues to champion cross-disciplinary innovation to propel biomedical technology forward. At BIO Asia–Taiwan 2026, the university has established the “NYCU Pavilion.” This pavilion brings together diverse, interdisciplinary R&D teams to showcase cutting-edge technologies with high clinical potential and industrial value. This exhibit highlights the university’s robust research capabilities and success in technology translation, while actively fostering industry partnerships to bridge the gap between innovation, clinical application, and market commercialization.

A total of 8 standout teams are featured this year, focusing on three core themes: Smart Healthcare, Regenerative Medicine, and Precision Nutrition. The exhibits present a comprehensive range of research outcomes—spanning AI applications, novel therapies, cell and tissue regeneration, and health-promotion nutrition—demonstrating NYCU’s pivotal role in driving biomedical innovation.
