November 21, 2025 The College of Biomedical Science and Engineering (CBMSE) at NYCU and the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) jointly hosted an International Joint Symposium. The event invited scholars from both institutions to present their latest breakthroughs in biomedical engineering and discuss future collaborative directions.
The first session encompassed a wide range of topics, including optical imaging, cancer diagnostics, cell and tissue analysis, the spatiotemporal complexity of tumors, and the application of semiconductor manufacturing in biomedical engineering.
The second session extended into diverse fields such as biosensing microenvironments, small-data applications in healthcare, AI-driven migraine detection, biomedical stimulation devices, Virtual Reality (VR) technology, and soft materials engineering.
